ABC School Board vice president Soo Yoo of Trustee Area 2 is setting her sight on reelection as she prepares to hold a fundraiser on Sept. 30 ahead of the Nov. 7 election.
The event will be held at Cerritos Park East (13234 E. 166th St.) from 4 to 6 p.m.
Yoo is in pole position to win reelection as she is so far the only candidate who has registered to run for the position, according to the ABC Unified School District.
Barring an appearance of a “write-in” candidate by Oct. 24, Yoo is set to win automatically.
Yoo said that even though she is in a favorable position, she will give her best to run a successful campaign until the election.
