A drug dealer in Thailand was caught posing as a Korean after undergoing severe plastic surgery to evade arrest.

According to the BBC and the Straits Times on the 28th, a Thai drug dealer named Saharat Sawangjaeng (25) was arrested at a luxury apartment in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, last week.

He underwent plastic surgery several times to look like a Korean man, and used a Korean name “Jung Ji-min” to hide his identity.

Witnesses described Saharat as a ‘handsome Korean man’ to the police. The police, who had been tracking him for three months, said “none of his original faces was left.”

After being arrested by the police, Saharat said, “I want to go to Korea and start a new life. I’m sick of Thailand”.

Saharat was arrested for purchasing and importing ecstasy (MDMA) with cryptocurrency and supplying it to drug dealers in Bangkok.

He has been arrested more than three times over the years on charges of assault and possession of illegal drugs. After being released from custody, he underwent extensive plastic surgery to avoid arrest.
