As wildflowers are expected to bloom again across Southern California this spring, travel agencies are launching tours to attract visitors.
The California Department of Parks and Recreation Department recently announced that it is predicting super blooms across Southern California after record rainfall this winter.
Travel agencies in LA Koreatown are offering super bloom tours as the blooming season is coming close. Aju Tour, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, is offering flower tours to Death Valley and Lancaster.

Aju Tour, said, “We organize one-day tours once a month, and our recent almond blossom tour attracted a total of 242 people over four trips. The Death Valley-Las Vegas 2-day and 1-night tour ($299), which departs on March 19 and 21 is also popular, with more than 200 people already booked, not only for the wildflowers but also for other attractions.”
“Since the Lake Elsinore Canyon is closed this year due to safety and tourist vandalism, we’ve organized a one-day tour to the Lancaster-Antelope Valley Canyon Poppy Preserve,” it added.
The poppy tours will be offered four times this month, on March 30, April 6, 9, and 13, and are priced at $109 per person, including lunch.
Samho Tour has launched a one-day sightseeing flower tourist package titled ‘Spring Flower Festival by VVIP Limousine Bus’.
The agency said, “This year’s super blooms have been announced, and inquiries for flower tours have been coming in. We are introducing a 32-seater luxury new VVIP limousine bus with in-vehicle Wi-Fi so that customers can enjoy flower viewing in comfort and convenience.”
The Antelope Valley tour and Carlsbad Flower Festival tour are priced at $129 and $149 per person, respectively, including lunch and entrance fees, with departure dates of March 23, 30, 31, and April 6, 7, 13, and 14.
PRT Tour is also offering a wildflower tour of the Antelope Valley for $99 per person, including lunch, with departures on March 10, 17, and 24.
“Our Death Valley-Red Rock Canyon 2-day and 1-night tour is especially popular because the heavy rains have formed a large lake for kayaking and a variety of wildflowers,” said PRT Tour. At $299 per person, the trip departing on March 19 is already sold out, with only 15 seats left on March 26.”
Flower tours are also seeing an increase in bookings compared to last year.
“Bookings for our 2-day and 1-night Fresno Blossom Trail Tour ($299) departing on March 15 have increased by 30% year-on-year,” said Four Seasons Tours.
“We’re also offering a Diamond Valley Lake Poppy Tour to see the beautiful lake and wildflowers. We’ve already received inquiries from guests who went last year, and we expect to see a 40 percent increase in bookings.” The tour departs next month on March 20 and costs $99 per person, including lunch.
Highlights of the tour include the Lancaster Antelope Valley Poppy Preserve, Carrizo Plain National Monument, Carlsbad Flower Fields, Diamond Lake, Fresno, and Death Valley.
