Stray Kids will perform at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards on Sept. 12, the boy band’s agency JYP Entertainment said Thursday.

MTV Video Music Awards, or MTV VMAs, is the American cable network MTV’s music video award ceremony that started in 1984.

This year’s award ceremony, held at the Prudential Center in New Jersey, will also see American singer Demi Lovato, Colombian singer Karol G and rock band Måneskin performing on stage. It will be Stray Kids’ first time performing “S-Class” on a television broadcast in the United States.

The boy band has also been nominated in the Best K-pop category on the Video Music Awards with “S-Class,” the lead track from the boy band’s most recent album “★★★★★ (5-STAR),” which dropped in June.

The album saw massive success in and outside Korea, as the album sold 4.61 million copies during the first week of its release, making it the highest-selling album in Korea on the first week of its release. The album also topped the Billboard 200 albums chart, making it the boy band’s third album to land atop the main chart.

Stray Kids is currently holding its “5-STAR Dome Tour 2023,” performing in dome stadiums around Japan and Korea. Kicking off with performances on Aug. 16 and 17 at the Fukuoka PayPay Dome, the boy band will perform in dome stadiums in Nagoya, Osaka, Tokyo and in Seoul’s KSPO Dome.
