SoCalGas to offer up to $200 in gas assistance for low-income seniors

Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas) offers a Gas Assistance Fee (GAF) of up to $200 for low-income customers aged 55 and older.

Under the program, the GAF provides a one-time payment of $100 for low-income customers, with an additional $100 for those aged 55 or older. This grant is a partnership between SoCalGas and the nonprofit United Way of Greater Los Angeles (UWGLA).

To qualify, a family of two must have an annual income of no more than $39,440, while a family of three’s annual income should not exceed $49,720. For families of four, the limit is $60,000, and for families of five, it is $70,280.
