Silver City Insurance Services, led by CEO Brian Jeung, a Medicare specialist in the Korean American community of Los Angeles, is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.
Founded a decade ago by Brian Jeung, who is also the Executive Vice President of Hub International, Silver City Insurance was established to assist Korean seniors (both Korean and Korean American) who faced language barriers preventing them from obtaining Medicare coverage.
Jeung stated, “The Medicare market is primarily dominated by non-Korean insurance companies. I founded Silver City Insurance because I noticed that many Korean seniors were unable to access insurance benefits due to English language difficulties.”
“After a decade of dedicated service to the Korean community, we have grown to become the largest Field Marketing Organization (FMO) for Medicare in the Southern California Korean American community. With the support we have received from the community, Silver City has quickly established itself as the premier Medicare agent. Currently, we have 100 agents and serve 8,000 customers.”
Obtaining FMO status allows the company to offer state-of-the-art resources and marketing tools to its independent agents while providing superior service to its clients, Jeung explained.
When asked about the secret behind the company’s rapid growth over the past decade, Jeung attributed it to the expertise of their agents, who possess decades of experience and stay updated on plan rules and changing benefits year after year. This enables their agents to deliver excellent service to a larger clientele.
On the occasion of their 10th anniversary, Jeung is seeking opportunities to expand the business. “We aim to expand our services nationwide, starting with Medicare marketing in Georgia, Texas, and Nevada. We are grateful that the community has recognized us as the largest Korean American Medicare insurance provider in Southern California for the past 10 years, and we will continue to strive for the well-being of our senior community,” he affirmed.
To celebrate their 10th anniversary, Silver City Insurance Services will host a celebration on July 20 at 5 p.m. at the Taglyon Complex in Hollywood, California. Invited customers, healthcare providers, agents, and professionals may attend.
As part of their commitment to giving back to the community, Silver City Insurance will donate $2,500 to four organizations, including the Koreatown Senior and Community Center, the Korean American Seniors Association of Orange County, the South Bay KO-AM Senior Center, and the Korean-American Senior Citizens’ Assoc. of S.F. Valley, for a total donation of $10,000.
