Seohyun of K-pop group Girls’ Generation may star in a new Korean-Chinese web drama, according to the 24-year-old’s talent agency, SM Entertainment, on Monday.

The entertainment company revealed that the singer has been offered a role in the new collaboration drama tentatively titled “Hwapokcheonwang.”

Although the final decision has not yet been made, she is currently in the final stage of making up her mind.

The upcoming series revolves around a male celebrity who falls in love with a girl at school.

The Korean TV personality will play someone who is usually very determined but shows weakness when it comes to love.

If finalized, Seohyun will work with other Korean celebrities including Sojin from girl group 9Muses, who has already decided to join the project.

Since she debuted in 2007 as a member of Girls’ Generation, Seohyun has mostly focused on her music career until recently. She is expected to appear in the upcoming SBS drama “Scarlet Heart: Ryu” along with singer-actor IU and actor Lee Joon-gi. That show will hit the air on Aug. 29.
