North Korea criticized the deepening U.S.-South Korea alliance, calling it reckless and warning that it will not stand by.
On February 14, the state-run Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) denounced the alliance, calling it “foolish behavior between a clumsy master and a naive servant.” KCNA condemned South Korea’s plans to acquire Seahawk maritime helicopters and establish a mobile fleet command.
The statement claimed that despite South Korea’s current political turmoil, its military is still focused on targeting the North. “Even as the current president becomes a defendant and political chaos unfolds, South Korea’s military remains fixated on confronting us,” KCNA stated.

Blames U.S. for South Korea’s Actions
North Korea accused the U.S. of pushing South Korea to escalate tensions. “It is obvious that the U.S. is behind this,” the statement read.

KCNA claimed the U.S. is using South Korea as a pawn in its strategy for dominance. “The U.S. demands that its servant continue to follow orders, even as its own house crumbles,” it added.
North Korea also issued a direct warning to the U.S., urging it to recognize global changes. “The U.S. must wake up before it is burned by the very fire it has ignited,” KCNA warned.
Pyongyang declared that strengthening the U.S.-South Korea alliance proves that its stance on military readiness is justified. “The enemy’s reckless provocations must be completely crushed with overwhelming military force,” the statement said.
North Korea reaffirmed its commitment to countering the alliance with strong military measures.
