
Nintendo’s next-generation gaming console, the Switch 2, set for release on June 5, began accepting pre-orders on April 24 at major retailers including GameStop, Best Buy, Target, and Walmart.
As eager shoppers rushed in, the initial stock quickly sold out. In Japan alone, over 2.2 million people have already placed pre-orders, and a supply shortage is now expected in the North American market as well.
