Actor Lee Hyun-woo and Red Velvet’s singer Joy will take the leads in tvN’s new Mon/Tue drama, She Loves Lying Too Much (working title).

According to Joy’s agency, SM Entertainment, Joy has confirmed to act the female lead in the drama, joining Lee Hyun-woo who has made the decision previously.

She Loves Lying Too Much is the Korean drama adaptation of popular Japanese manga of the same title (Kanojo wa Uso o Aishisugiteru). It follows the romantic relationship between a genius composer Kang Han-gyul and a high schooler Yoon So-rim, who falls in love with Kang at first sight.

Kang Han-kyul is a character who is aggressive with his musical talents while shy and inexperienced with girls. He encounters Yoon So-rim as a ‘genius composer,’ not letting know of his identity and soon be moved by her boldness. Yoon So-rim is a character who doesn’t hide her feelings. She inspires Kang Han-kyul with her heavenly voice.

She Loves Lying Too Much, which is to be produced by Kim Jin-min of Marriage Contract and Time Between Dog and Wolf, will air in March, following Introvert Boss.
