In the city where the lights never go out, the roar of F1 car engines will also never fade this time.

The iconic Las Vegas Strip, known for its glitzy hotels, will be transformed into a thrilling race track, showcasing F1 cars zipping through the heart of the city. As the Strip is reimagined as a high-speed circuit, spectators can expect a unique spectacle of race cars speeding between towering hotels.

According to the Formula One Group, the “2024 F1 Heineken Silver Las Vegas Grand Prix” will take place from November 21 to 23 on the Las Vegas Strip Circuit. This marks the second year of the Las Vegas Grand Prix, which made its debut last year.

With Las Vegas securing another F1 race, the United States once again becomes the only country to host three Grand Prix events in a single F1 season.

The upcoming race will feature 20 of F1’s top drivers, including reigning champion Max Verstappen (Red Bull Racing), Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes), and Fernando Alonso (Aston Martin). Verstappen, who won last year’s Las Vegas Grand Prix and currently leads the 2024 season, is anticipated to deliver another exceptional performance.

The Strip Circuit includes 17 corners and spans 3.8 miles, with drivers expected to complete 50 laps for a total race distance of 192.6 miles. The track, centered around Las Vegas Boulevard, will see racers speed past landmarks such as Caesars Palace, Bellagio, and the Cosmopolitan. Last year, the top speed recorded on this circuit was 217.8 mph, achieved by Charles Leclerc (Ferrari).

Unlike most F1 races, which take place during daylight hours, the Las Vegas Grand Prix will kick off under the city’s dazzling night lights. The first practice session starts on November 21 at 6:30 PM, followed by a second session at 10:00 PM. On November 22, the third practice will take place at 6:30 PM, with the qualifying session at 10:00 PM. The main race is scheduled for 10:00 PM on November 23.

In addition to the race itself, numerous events will add to the excitement. The Sphere, one of Las Vegas’s most famous attractions, will host concerts by renowned artists such as OneRepublic and The Beaches. Several hotels, including Caesars Palace, Bellagio, and the Cosmopolitan, will also hold exclusive Las Vegas Grand Prix celebration parties.

Tickets for the Las Vegas Grand Prix start at $99 and can be purchased through the official Las Vegas Grand Prix website at www.f1lasvegasgp.com.
