The United Theater on Broadway was selected to maximize La Poem’s delicate musical expression and powerful energy, ensuring the audience experiences a flawless performance.
Known for its exceptional acoustics, the venue has been meticulously prepared to deliver the highest sound quality for the leading crossover music group from Korea, La Poem, renowned for its rich harmonies and emotional performances.
Located on 9th Street, at the southern end of LA’s historic Broadway Theater District, the United Theater is a cultural landmark where music and art converge. The district itself dates back to the early 20th century when it became home to some of the largest theaters in the United States.
Between 1910 and the 1930s, 12 theaters opened from 3rd to 9th Street, forming what is now known as the Broadway Theater District, officially designated a National Historic Landmark in 1979.
The United Theater on Broadway stands out for its elegant Art Deco architecture, reflecting the artistic spirit of 1920s Paris. While preserving its historical charm, the venue has undergone modern restorations to maintain its timeless elegance.
In addition to the theater’s architectural beauty, across the street, visitors can admire “Girl on a Swing,” a mural by British street artist Banksy, known for his provocative social commentary and impactful graffiti.
Banksy’s works, which first gained attention in the 1990s on the streets of the UK, have since skyrocketed in value, with this particular mural elevating the building’s price from $6 million to over $30 million, while the artwork alone is valued at $10 million.
La Poem’s concert, part of their first overseas tour since their debut, kicks off in Washington, D.C., followed by Dallas, before culminating in Los Angeles on October 12 at 6 p.m.
To commemorate Korea Daily’s 50th anniversary and to introduce the latest trend in crossover music, ticket prices start at an accessible $60.
