LA Korean Festival kicks off

The LA Korean Festival, celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, kicked off on October 12 at Seoul International Park in Koreatown with the theme ‘Great Challenges for the Next 50 Years.’ The four-day festival, running through October 15, will feature a variety of performances and events, along with an agricultural expo. The Kohanga Primary School choir sing the national anthem at the opening ceremony on the evening of October 12. [Sangjin Kim, The Korea Daily]
