Seoul Institute of the Arts is set to hold an eight-week Korean vocal workshop at CultureHub LA in an effort to discover and develop the next great Korean artist.

The workshop will be taught by Ann One of Musicians Institute in Hollywood. One has collaborated with various Korean artists, including Tiger JK, Mi-rae Yoon and many more, while also working for Feel Ghood Music.

“Audition videos and portfolios are a big part of the application for those who want to attend art schools,” said CultureHub LA program director Iris Kim. “A lot of artists nowadays promote themselves through online channels such as YouTube. The eight-week workshop is not only an opportunity to receive one-on-one coaching from Ann One, but students will also receive a performance video.”

Additionally, the participants will also have the chance to perform in front of an audience on June 16.

Seoul Institute of the Arts has long been known for its production of Korea’s finest artists, including Bum-soo Kim, Jang-hyuk Cho, Gun-mo Kim, Jeong-hee Lim, Mi-kyung Park, Ki-young Park and Jin-pyo Kim. The faculty also consists of lecturers with rich experience in the industry who have graduated the best music schools around the world.

The workshop classes will be held every Monday from April 17 to June 12. No class will be held on May 29. The registration fee is $200, which includes an edited audition video of the student’s performances over eight weeks.
