The “Korean Americans for Harris (KAH)” group will hold a support gathering on September 13 in Koreatown, Los Angeles.
The event will take place at Duckbill Lounge (3330 Wilshire Blvd) on the corner of Wilshire and Catalina Streets, starting at 7 p.m. It will feature prominent Korean American Democratic leaders and elected officials showing their support for Kamala Harris.
Among the attendees will be Andy Kim, who is running for U.S. Senate in New Jersey, as well as actor Leonardo Nam, Irvine Vice Mayor Tammy Kim, and Rancho Palos Verdes City Councilmember Paul Seo.
Due to limited seating, attendees are required to reserve their spot in advance through the event website.
KAH officially launched on August 8 via an online event, drawing more than 300 Democratic politicians, activists, and influencers from across the country, including Hawaii Lieutenant Governor Sylvia Luke.
