A second-generation Korean-American attorney has been honored with the Asian Leadership of the Year Award.

A partner at Norton Rose Fulbright, Kim chaired the Asian Bar Association’s Commission on Racial and Ethnic Diversity and was the first Asian to serve as president of the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles. She was also the first Korean American woman to serve as president of the National Asian American Bar Association, representing the Asian legal community.

As the president of the KAC, Kim was an active advocate for the establishment of a police station to serve Koreatown, which led to the creation of the Olympic Police Station.

Kim currently practices securities and corporate litigation at Norton Rose Fulbright.

Since 1999, PDJ magazine has been a nationally and internationally recognized publication that showcases the work of individuals and organizations that support and demonstrate leadership in diversity, equity, and inclusion in business, government, nonprofits, and STEM education.

It also has established and annually presents awards to honor those who have led the way in mentoring and outreach to promote diversity and equity in the workplace and community.
