The largest summer music festival in South Korea, “Waterbomb,” is set to make its debut in Los Angeles next month.
Known for its summer theme of refreshing water, the festival features a variety of music performances, including K-pop, hip-hop, and EDM, along with large-scale water gun fights, attracting tens of thousands of attendees each year.
“2024 Waterbomb Los Angeles” will take place from September 28 to 29 at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson City. This marks the first time the event will be held in the United States since its inception in Seoul in 2015.
Waterbomb is renowned for its star-studded artist lineup. At this year’s Seoul event, Hollywood actors Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman made surprise appearances, delighting the crowd. The LA edition will feature popular Korean artists, including Kwon Eun-bi, Jay Park, Simon Dominic, Jessi, Hwasa, Chung Ha, K.Will, and ATEEZ.
Tickets for Waterbomb are priced between $160 and $440 and are available for attendees aged 18 and over. Participants are encouraged to wear swimwear such as rash guards and bikinis, or casual attire like shorts and t-shirts. Water guns and goggles for the water fights are also allowed.
Waterbomb LA is part of a world tour, with events scheduled in 11 international cities, including Hong Kong, Dubai, and Singapore.
