JYP Entertainment signed a strategic partnership with concert organizer Live Nation to create new opportunities for artists to connect and communicate with fans on a larger scale, enhancing their reach and interaction with audiences worldwide.
Through the new partnership, JYP and Live Nation plan to promote concerts for JYP’s artists, including Twice, Stray Kids, ITZY, Xdinary Heroes and NMIXX.
The partnership between JYP Entertainment and Live Nation will promote global performance opportunities for JYP’s artists, not only for its current lineup but also for emerging talents expected to debut in the future, according to the press release.
Artists from JYP Entertainment have jointly held numerous world tours produced by Live Nation in the past few years. Girl group Twice, in June 2023, held a sold-out concert at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, followed by another in July at the MetLife Stadium in New York. These performances marked them as the first K-pop girl group to headline at major North American football and baseball stadiums.
Boy band Stray Kids of JYP performed in BMO Stadium, Los Angeles, in March 2023 and set a record as the second K-pop boy band to enter and sell out a stadium venue in North America.
Live Nation is a multinational entertainment company that promotes and operates ticket sales for the entertainment industry in the United States and worldwide. Founded in 2010, it currently holds more than 45 entertainment projects globally, having sold more than 140 million concert tickets worldwide by 2023.
JYP Entertainment is a Korean multinational entertainment company and record label conglomerate founded in 1997 by singer-songwriter Park Jin-young. Notable artists under the agency include 2PM, Day6, Twice, Stray Kids, ITZY, NiziU, Xdinary Heroes and NMIXX.
