The lineup announced by the festival on Monday included XG, rapper DPR Live, Korean-Australian R&B Singer DPR Ian, singer-songwriter Loren and ITZY as one of the headliners of the festival.
Head in the Clouds New York Music & Arts Festival, hosted by the American recording company and agency 88rising and focusing on Asian artists, was first held in Los Angeles in 2018 before expanding to Indonesia and the Philippines in 2022.
88rising describes this year’s festival as a “return to where the company was founded almost eight years ago.”
The festival, held during the Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month in the U.S., will be one of the biggest nationwide celebrations, according to HITC’s official website.
ITZY, along with Indonesian rapper Rich Brian, will be headlining the first day of the festival while Indonesian singer-songwriter NIKI, DPR Live, DPR Ian, XG and Loren will headline day two.
Tickets for the festival will go on sale on March 20.
