Hyundai Motor America (HMA) held a launch event for the ‘All-New Kona X Art Project’ to showcase the 2024 All-New Kona vehicle and unveil a mural featuring Hyundai’s slogan ‘It’s Your Journey’.
At the event, held at Madang Mall in LA’s Koreatown, Korean American graffiti artist Chanyang Shim (known as Royyal Dog) completed a mural with Koreatown as the background, depicting people finding their own journey with KONA and embarking on everyday adventures.
“The second-generation All-New KONA, with its sleek looks based on an electric vehicle design concept, not only offers a spacious interior with a 6-inch increase in length, a 3-inch increase in rear seat space, and a 33% increase in trunk volume, but also upgrades on all fronts, including over-the-air (OTA) updates and the SmartSense advanced driving assistance system,” said Jonas Lee, Assistant Manager of Product Planning at HMA.
“We’re excited to showcase the colorful KONA alongside Royyal Dog’s artwork in Koreatown. Hyundai is a beautiful vehicle for telling stories about people’s journeys,” said Erik Thomas, director of experiential marketing at HMA.
Product specialists will be on-site every weekend until December 10 to provide in-depth explanations and offer selfie giveaways.
