Hair Care Routine for Changing Seasons

As the weather gets warmer, we need to pay a special attention to hair care. On the changing season, airflow, as well as temperature and weather, is vigorously changing. Such changes may act harmfully against your hair condition unless you pay attention to your hair care routine. Following are some tips for changing-seasons hair care.

1. Avoid All-in-one Products
Everyone, in general, has oily hair type near the roots and dry hair near the ends. Due to this condition, it is recommended to use shampoos with high cleansing level, while using conditioners with high nutrients level.
Most of the all-in-one hair products are divided between oily and dry, making it impossible to cross-use products for different hair types.

2. Use Coconut Oil
Applying coconut oil on your hair before shampooing is one of the best and easiest remedies for damaged hair. When your scalp is dry, apply coconut oil once a few weeks and when your hair is exposed to heat frequently by occasional perms, use coconut oil each time before washing hair. You don’t necessarily use expansive products when choosing coconut oil.

3. Avoid Heat Damage
Heat is the arch enemy of healthy hair. When drying or styling your hair, try to avoid using hot air from dryer or curling iron.

4. Tie Your Hair Down Loosely
When you pull and stretch your hair to wear a ponytail up high, hairs too get stressed. Stress to your hair results in hair loss, so let your hair fall naturally in a low, loose ponytail.
