H Mart Las Vegas will open its first store in Nevada on March 24, marking a new chapter for the international supermarket chain as it expands into its 18th state.
The new location, situated at 2620 S. Decatur Blvd. in the Sahara Pavilion South Shopping Center, will span approximately 55,000 square feet. It includes a large-scale food hall and expanded retail space within the adjacent strip mall.
Food hall to feature seven popular Asian brands
The Las Vegas store will host a range of well-known Asian food vendors. Seven brands are set to operate in the food hall, including:
-
Hong Kong Banjeom 0410, a Korean-Chinese chain by celebrity chef Baek Jong-won

Jopok Tteokbokki
-
Moobongri Soondae-guk
-
BBQ Chicken
-
Tiger Sugar, a Taiwanese milk tea brand
-
Hanmo Soondubu
-

This marks the first time many of these brands will appear in Las Vegas.
Wide selection of products for diverse customers
As with other H Mart locations, the Las Vegas store will offer traditional Asian groceries alongside global products and daily essentials. Shoppers will find items such as:

Expanding presence in the U.S.
Founded in 1982 in Woodside, New York, H Mart now operates over 100 stores across 18 states. The company employs more than 6,000 people and runs five regional distribution centers.
Known as the largest international supermarket chain in the U.S., H Mart serves multicultural communities by offering high-quality Asian foods and a wide range of essentials.
The brand gained wider attention after being featured in Michelle Zauner’s memoir Crying in H Mart. In recent years, it has also gone viral on TikTok, with videos featuring popular items like peach-shaped ice cream and sashimi bento boxes circulating among younger consumers.
Rising grocery competition in Las Vegas
Las Vegas is seeing increased competition in the grocery sector. Aldi is preparing to open stores in Henderson, Southwest Las Vegas, and North Las Vegas. In 2023, Grocery Outlet opened its first location in Southern Nevada.
Industry observers say the opening of H Mart could offer a new alternative to customers who have traditionally shopped for Asian groceries at 99 Ranch Market on Spring Mountain Road.
