H Mart, the largest Asian supermarket chain in the U.S., is opening in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The new store will be about 55,000 square feet in size and will open in the Sahara Pavilion South Shopping Center at 2620 S. Decatur Boulevard.
H Mart said it is preparing the Las Vegas store with great effort to increase customer satisfaction based on its operating philosophy of “excellence in quality and freshness, and one-stop shopping experience.”
The Las Vegas store will offer a variety of products, including fresh food directly delivered from local farms in California, food from Korea, and high-quality household goods.
Brian Kwon, the president of H Mart, said, “Our goal is to enrich people’s lives through Asian traditions, food, and culture,” and “We will go beyond a simple shopping space to create a convenient one-stop shopping space that embraces diverse cultures and brings value and joy to our customers’ lives.”
Seven dining and beverage brands will occupy the food hall of the Las Vegas store, including Hong Kong Banjum 0410, BBQ Chicken, Hanmo Sundubu, Moobongri Sundae, Jopok Topokki, Oh K-Dog, and Tiger Sugar.
Since opening its first store in Woodside, New York, in 1982, H Mart has grown to become the largest international supermarket chain in the U.S., with more than 100 stores in 18 states, about 6,000 employees, five regional distribution centers, and processing facilities.
Its stores provide a variety of essential foods, meat, fish, fruits, vegetables, household goods, and ready-to-eat products as well as high-quality Asian foods, providing a variety of services to multicultural customers as well as local communities.
