Held at the museum’s Ray Charles Terrace, this year’s event will open with performances by the top 10 K-pop cover dance teams in the “K-pop Cover Dance Festival in USA” competition.
The competition is hosted by the Kccla and Seoul Shinmun Daily and invites 150 K-pop cover dance teams across the United States to vie for a chance to advance to the final round in Seoul in September along with other contestants from around the world.
Visitors will be able to dance to multiple K-pop songs in rapid succession in “random play dance” corners at the “K-pop Dance Night” event. Photo booths where visitors can try on Korean traditional clothing such as gat (traditional hat) and jokduri (traditional hair accessory) will be prepared as well.
The Grammy Museum will host the “HYBE: We Believe In Music” exhibition from Friday to Sept. 15, where artifacts of HYBE K-pop groups including BTS, Seventeen, Le Sserafim and Enhypen will be on display.
