Forever 21, a Korean-American-owned global apparel brand, maintained its standing as the No. 1 business run by racial minority in L.A. County.
According to the ranking released by the L.A. Business Journal, Forever 21 recorded a revenue of $4 billion last year.
The notable part is that Forever 21 continues to thrive despite the struggle of many prominent apparel brands. Forever 21 recently launched an affiliate brand F21 Red to offer affordable clothing as well as Riley Rose for beauty products.
Seven businesses cracked the top 100 in the rankings. Following Forever 21, Pacific American Fish was the second Korean-American-owned business to record the highest revenue at $287 million. Pacific American Fish came in ninth in the overall rankings.
Goose Manufacturing, a premium jean brand, came in at 11th, followed by Bank Card Service (22), TechLink Systems (36), Young Systems (40) and Lee & Law (64).
