Federal Government Agency Intro Seminar for Korean American Community

An introductory seminar about federal government agencies will be held for the Korean-American community.

Ed Royce, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives for California’s 39th congressional district, will spearhead the seminar on June 27 at 6 p.m. at Buena Park community center (6688 Beach Blvd.) about federal government agencies services in 2017.

The seminar was inspired by the U.S. government’s efforts to support the Asian-American community in the country. The topics at the seminar will include social security, immigration, tax and more. The seminar will also provide a Q&A session with the audience.

“The experts will be at the seminar to provide answers regarding citizenships, green card application, tax problems and preventing identity theft,” said Hoel Park, who represents the Korean-American community for the Asia-Pacific Council of American Chambers of Commerce. “An interpreting service will be provided for those who need it.”

Those with questions are encouraged to email Stephanie.hu@mail.house.gov.
