Former Yongsan Police Station chief Lee Im-jae was arrested on Friday for allegedly failing to respond quickly to the crowd crush in Itaewon on Oct. 29 where 158 people died.

It was the second time that the prosecutors have sought an arrest warrant against Lee.

Lee is also accused of tampering with reports to falsely claim that he arrived on the scene early.
