Clovine, a cloud-based project management provider, is gaining traction in the global collaboration platform space with rapid user growth and strategic tech partnerships.

As of late 2024, Clovine surpassed 100,000 international users. Just one quarter later, that number climbed by another 25,000. At this pace, the company is expected to reach over 200,000 overseas users by the end of 2025. This would more than double its 2024 international user base and exceed its domestic user count of 150,000.

Organic Growth and Global Strategy

The company credits its global momentum to strong word-of-mouth and positive reviews from the U.S.-based software platform Capterra. Notably, this growth has come without major marketing spending.

“We launched our English version before the Korean one, specifically targeting the global market,” said Clovine CEO Jungwon Hong. “Our user-friendly interface and data-driven capabilities have been central to our word-of-mouth success.”

Strategic Partnerships with Microsoft and KT

A significant component of Clovine’s growth strategy involves partnerships with Microsoft Korea and KT. The company is currently integrating generative AI technologies powered by Microsoft Azure, aiming to boost efficiency in its cloud-based tools.

By 2026, the company plans full integration with Microsoft Teams and Office 365. It is also adopting Microsoft’s AI assistant, Copilot, to enhance its service offerings.

During the Microsoft AI Tour in Seoul, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella highlighted Korea’s accelerated digital transformation. He noted that AI is reshaping industries such as retail, energy, and telecom across the country.

Nadella also introduced two AI agents built with advanced reasoning models, aligning with Microsoft’s broader plan to embed AI across collaborative tools—an approach that parallels Clovine’s automation goals.

Rapid Growth Since Launch

Founded in 2021 with 37,600 users, Clovine now supports over 260,000 users globally and hosts more than 76,000 projects. The company’s borderless UI/UX, frequent feature updates, and AI-driven productivity tools position it as a leading SaaS project management solution from Korea.

If current trends continue, Clovine is projected to reach 350,000 total users by the end of 2025, with over 200,000 located outside Korea—solidifying its status as a global SaaS contender.
