The choreography video for Blackpink’s latest single “Pink Venom” surpassed 20 million views on YouTube in just a day, YG Entertainment said Friday.

The agency says that it is the most viewed choreography video for a K-pop girl group that has racked up within 24 hours of being posted to YouTube.

Before “Pink Venom,” Blackpink already held this title with the song “How You Like That” (2020), as its choreography video was viewed over 18.8 million times within 24 hours.

The music video for “Pink Venom” also earned a record for the shortest time to achieve 100 million views, in just 29 hours and 35 minutes, for a K-pop girl group.

The four members of Blackpink — Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa — left for the United States as the group is set to perform at the MTV Video Music Awards as the first female K-pop act. The ceremony will be held on Aug. 28.

Blackpink debuted in 2016 with EP “Square One” and has released hit tracks including “Playing with Fire” (2016), “Forever Young” (2018), and “Lovesick Girls” (2020).
