Rap Monster of boy band BTS will temporarily halt activities due to the risk of stress fractures. He will be unable to join the group for their upcoming scheduled performances.
An official from the group’s agency, Big Hit Entertainment, said in an official statement on Friday, “Rap Monster was rushed to the hospital after he was experiencing pains while practicing for the group’s upcoming comeback performances. He was advised to rest as his leg may end up getting stress fractures.
We luckily discovered the symptoms at an early stage, so there is not yet any damage to his bones. He will be receiving physical therapy to make sure he is in top shape before the group’s expected comeback. He will not be part of the performances at the upcoming Busan One Asia Festival.”
The idol rapper debuted as part of the group in 2013 with their first single album “2 Cool 4 Skool.” The boy band is currently preparing to drop its new full-length studio album, “WINGS,” on Oct. 10.
