BTS leader RM’s music video for ‘LOST!’ wins four awards at Germany’s Ciclope Festival

BTS leader RM’s music video for “LOST!” from his recent solo album “Right Place, Wrong Person” swept four awards at Germany’s Ciclope Festival on Thursday.

The music video, released in May, won two gold awards for Direction and Production Design and two bronze for Cinematography and Color Grading. The video was directed by French filmmaker Aube Perrie, known for his work on British pop star Harry Styles’ “Satellite” in 2023.

The Ciclope Festival awards its Grand Prix award to one work across all categories and gold, silver and bronze prizes for the winners of specific categories.

RM’s “LOST!” music video has also been nominated for three categories at the UK Music Video Awards: Best Alternative International, Best Production Design in a Video and Best Visual Effects in a Video. The winners will be announced on Oct. 25.

Meanwhile, the documentary “RM: Right People, Wrong Place,” featuring RM’s album-making process and his eight-month journey before joining the military, was screened at this year’s Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) on Oct. 7. It is the first K-pop documentary film to have been officially included in BIFF’s Open Cinema section.
