Lisa of girl group Blackpink will make her screen debut in the third season of the HBO original series “The White Lotus,” American media outlet Variety reported Monday.

“[Lisa] will be credited under her given name, Lalisa Manobal, in the third season of the hit HBO series,” reported Variety.

“The White Lotus” is an anthology series surrounding the guests and staff of a luxury resort chain, depicting psychosocial dysfunctions and the privilege of the upper class. The series has received multiple accolades including 15 Primetime Emmy awards and two Golden Globe awards.

The first season of the series was set in Hawaii while the second was set in Sicily. The third season is expected to be set in Thailand and Phuket.

Plot details and the specific role played by Lisa have not yet been revealed.

The ensemble cast for the third season of “The White Lotus” includes Leslie Bibb, Michelle Monaghan, Parker Posey, Carrie Coon, Patrick Schwarzenegger and Aimee Lou Wood.

With her role in “The White Lotus,” Lisa will become the second member of Blackpink to appear in an HBO series, after member Jennie debuted in the 2023 series “The Idol.”

Lisa recently established her own management company named Lloud, becoming the third member of Blackpink to officially kick off her solo career. Jennie founded Odd Atelier last November while member Jisoo is working on launching a company named Blissoo.

With the four Blackpink members’ contracts with YG Entertainment expiring in 2023, Lisa, Jennie, Jisoo and Rosé decided to continue their group activities with the agency but did not re-sign for solo projects.
