As many of us know, there is no holiday in June, and so is special sales. Then, what items would be the best to shop in this month?

Consumer Reports and NBC News introduced shopping items that are often discounted in June, which is the beginning month of summer and vacation.

First item is sportswear. Many sportswear companies have large sales especially on sports items that are popular in the summer, including bicycles, running shoes, and baseball, soccer, tennis gear. Also, treadmills and elliptical machines are also discounted more than other seasons, as they are necessary for preparing the ‘summer body’.

Furniture, as well have higher discounts because the companies need to get rid of the spring season’s furniture that are already displayed in order to guarantee some space to display upcoming fall season’s collection. Many middle-low priced furniture companies will go on sales including Eaton Allen, La-Z-Boy, Thomasville, and IKEA.

As there are more demands on travel and wedding in the summer, the purchase of camcorders increases, and so does its discount. Experts say that one should study and weigh pros and cons when buying a camcorder, because it varies in size, function, and especially price ($150 to $1600).

Other than above items, NBC News has reported that many underwear companies also go on large sales for those women that are sensitive about their bodies, especially in the summer where they need to expose more parts of their bodies. Victoria’s Secret’s June sales is already well-known among women.

Last but not least, June is known to be the best month to purchase designer clothing. Brands such as Calvin Klein and Coach usually increase their discount rates up to 40%, but they are expected to increase even more this year.
