Bae Suzy and Lee Jong-suk Confirm to Star in “While You Were Sleeping”

Entertainment production company iHQ announced on November 28 that actress as well as singer of K-pop group Miss A, Bae Suzy, has confirmed to take the lead role in new drama series, While You Were Sleeping (working title). As previously announced, Lee Jong-suk will act the male lead.

Bae Suzy debuted as an actress with Dream High, a popular drama series written by Park Hye-ryun, the same writer as the upcoming drama. Suzy is reuniting with Park in six years. The writer has previously worked with Lee Jong-suk in I Can Hear Your Voice and Pinocchio.

While the exact release date is yet to be decided, the drama will air next year on SBS. The production and filming will start in the first half of next year.

While You Were Sleeping is a drama that follows the story of a woman who can predict the future through precognitive dreams and a prosecutor who struggles to stop the foreseen tragedy.
