To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Korea Daily and the 40th anniversary of Aju Tour, a special “Cultural Tour” will launch next spring, offering participants the chance to experience the charm of Britain and Europe.

This program builds on the success of this year’s “Visit to Dokdo” project, expanding its scope to introduce Korean Americans to the rich history and culture of overseas destinations.

The program, starting April 21 next year, offers two itinerary options: a 9-night, 10-day trip or an 11-night, 12-day journey, focusing on iconic destinations across Europe, with Britain as the centerpiece.

The route spans all of Britain, from London to Oxford, Liverpool, Scotland, Ireland, and Wales, providing participants with a deep dive into cultural and historical experiences. Extended itineraries including Belgium and the Netherlands are also available.

The tour highlights major British cities and landmarks. In Oxford, participants will visit the historic university campus and explore sites made famous by the Harry Potter films. Liverpool offers a look into music history at The Beatles Story Museum. In Scotland, the itinerary includes the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Edinburgh Castle, while Dublin, Ireland, introduces the origins of Guinness beer.

In Wales, visitors will explore Chester, a city that preserves its medieval charm, and the Roman baths and iconic Stonehenge in Bath. The London portion features visits to Buckingham Palace, Tower Bridge, and other iconic landmarks representing British heritage.

The cost is $5,999 for the 9-night, 10-day trip and $6,999 for the 11-night, 12-day option. Both packages include transportation via private vehicles, Eurostar, flights, hotel accommodations, and more. Reservations are open until February 28, 2025.

Special subsidies and discounts make this trip a highly cost-effective opportunity. Participants booking the 11-night itinerary receive a $500 subsidy, while those choosing the 9-night option receive $300. An additional $200 discount is available for early bird reservations completed by January 31, 2025, bringing total discounts to up to $700.
