Air Premia will increase flights on its Los Angeles and San Francisco routes starting in May.

According to Air Premia, the LA route will see additional flights from May 30 to July 5. During this period, the airline will add late-night flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, increasing the total to seven weekly round-trip flights. From July 6, one more Sunday night flight will be added, bringing the total to 11 weekly flights.

For the San Francisco route, a Saturday flight will be added beginning May 10. This will increase the frequency from four weekly flights (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday) to five.

Promotional fares through April 1

To mark the expansion, Air Premia is offering special fares through April 1. The promotion covers flights from April 1, 2024, through January 31, 2025.

Round-trip fares, including fuel surcharges and airport taxes, start at $841 for economy class and $1,511 for premium economy on the LA route. For San Francisco, economy fares start at $620 and premium economy at $1,020. There are no blackout dates, allowing customers to book seats in advance even during holiday seasons.

Tickets are available on Air Premia’s website and through both online and offline travel agencies. Availability may be limited depending on booking status.

Temporary airline change for SF route

Due to an aircraft shortage, Air Premia announced a temporary change for its San Francisco route on March 31. Flights YP111 and YP112 will be operated by Korean Air as KE9025 and KE9026.

As a result, flight YP111 will arrive in San Francisco at 12:10 p.m. instead of 1:00 p.m., and flight YP112 will depart at 3:00 p.m., instead of 3:30 p.m.

Passengers must check in at the Korean Air counters located in Terminal 2 at both San Francisco International Airport and Incheon International Airport. Tickets for the affected flights will be automatically reissued as Korean Air e-tickets between March 27 and 28.

To complete the change, passengers must submit a personal information consent form by 7:59 a.m. on March 26. Forms will be sent via text message or email.

This temporary change is due to a delay in the delivery of Air Premia’s seventh Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner (HL8702), initially expected in January. The delay stems from global supply chain issues.

Fleet expansion planned

Air Premia expects to receive the delayed aircraft this month and plans to add two more planes later this year, bringing its total fleet to nine.
