‘Lifted’ by CL was produced by Teddy of YG Entertainment and it was co-written by CL, Teddy, and American rapper ‘Asher Roth’. The song has done a sampling of part of the song, ‘Method Man’ by Wu-Tang Clan, a legendary hip-hop group from New York during the 1990’s. In addition, CL’s unique and sexy rap voice is a must-listen.

After its official release, the song has been rated as 17th on Billboard’s Social 50 chart, 12th on iTunes’ Top 40 US Hip-hop chart, and as ‘Best of the Week’ of Apple Music. The song was also introduced by major press including Time Magazine, Entertainment Weekly, and USA Today.
