PCB Bank (President and CEO Henry Kim) has officially opened applications for its 8th Annual Scholarship Program. The bank plans to award $3,000 each to 34 students, totaling $102,000 in scholarships this year.
Launched in 2018, the program has provided $470,000 in scholarships to 163 students to date. With this year’s round, the cumulative total will rise to 197 recipients and $570,000 in awards.
Eligibility has expanded beyond California’s Los Angeles and Orange counties to include students in New York, New Jersey, Texas, and for the first time, Gwinnett County, Georgia—where PCB Bank is scheduled to open a new branch this June.
Applicants must be current high school seniors graduating in 2025 and planning to attend a two- or four-year college in the United States. The deadline for online applications is May 30 at 5:00 PM Pacific Time. Applications must be submitted via the bank’s official website (mypcbbank.com).
Winners will be notified individually by June 9. The award ceremony, which will also include a financial education session for students, is scheduled for June 26. For more information, applicants can visit the website or call 213-210-2000.
