A Korean Street Food Favorite Hits U.S. Shelves

The Gangneung Umjine Kkomakjip originated from a street stall in Gangneung Dongbu Market in 2013, where cockle bibimbap quickly captured local appetites. Its signature marinade and firm texture made it a bestseller, with some stores experiencing early sellouts due to high demand.
