Leading the way is TWICE, one of K-pop’s biggest girl groups. Also performing are Xdinary Heroes, a rock-driven K-band from JYP Entertainment, and Wave to Earth, an indie trio with a jazz-influenced sound. Their inclusion highlights a shift—Korean acts are no longer just guest performers but key parts of the festival’s identity.
K-Pop’s Steady Rise at Lollapalooza
Lollapalooza has steadily expanded its lineup to include K-pop and Korean artists, reflecting the genre’s growing influence on the global music scene.
- 2024: Stray Kids and IVE became the latest K-pop acts to take the stage, while YOASOBI, a Japanese duo with Korean industry ties, also performed.
- 2023: TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT), NewJeans, and The Rose drew massive crowds, further cementing K-pop’s presence at the festival. TXT’s performance followed their successful 2022 debut.
- 2022: J-Hope of BTS made history as the first Korean artist to headline a major U.S. festival, delivering a career-defining set. TXT also made their Lollapalooza debut, marking a key moment for fourth-generation K-pop acts.
With TWICE, Xdinary Heroes, and Wave to Earth on the 2025 lineup, Lollapalooza continues integrating Korean artists across different genres, proving that K-pop—and Korean music as a whole—is no longer a festival novelty but an essential part of the lineup.
A Stacked 2025 Lineup

Beyond Korean acts, this year’s festival offers a wide range of artists. Olivia Rodrigo, Tyler, the Creator, Korn, A$AP Rocky, and Martin Garrix headline, spanning pop, rock, hip-hop, and EDM. Sabrina Carpenter, RÜFÜS DU SOL, Luke Combs, and Gracie Abrams are also on the bill.
For EDM fans, Dom Dolla, Gryffin, Cloonee, Knock2, and ISOxo promise high-energy sets. Rock and alternative lovers can look forward to Cage the Elephant, The Marías, and Wallows.
K-Pop’s Place in the Global Festival Scene
K-pop’s presence at Western festivals is no longer a surprise. Coachella and Lollapalooza have welcomed idol groups, indie bands, and rock acts from Korea. This shift shows the growing demand for diverse Korean music genres.
With TWICE, Xdinary Heroes, and Wave to Earth, Lollapalooza 2025 continues this momentum. Korean artists are no longer just festival guests—they are now a staple.
