BURBANK – Nickelodeon’s upcoming Wylde Pak brings humor, adventure, and cultural representation to audiences this summer. The 2D-animated series follows a blended Korean American family, focusing on half-siblings Lily Pak and Jack Wylde as they adjust to life together.
Co-created by Paul Watling and Kyle Marshall, Wylde Pak is a 26-episode series inspired by their own family experiences. Lily and Jack, now under one roof for the first time, navigate daily life while helping run their family’s pet grooming and boarding business. As they settle in, they also explore their Korean heritage, cultural identity, and what it means to be a family.

A Story of Adventure, Identity, and Growth
“Nickelodeon is committed to telling stories that reflect diverse experiences with humor and heart,” said Ramsey Naito, President of Paramount Animation and Nickelodeon Animation. “Wylde Pak does just that by showcasing a modern Korean American family, blending adventure, cultural moments, and the challenges of growing up together.”
A first-look clip released today features Lily, Jack, and their family competing for a rare box of imported Hallasand cookies at their local Asian market, Woori World. With unexpected obstacles and fierce competition, they must work together to succeed.
A Talented Voice Cast Brings the Story to Life
The series features a strong voice cast, including:
- Nikki Castillo (K.C. Undercover) as Lily Pak, a competitive 11-year-old who loves a challenge.
- Benjamin Plessala (SpongeBob: Sponge on the Run) as Jack Wylde, her adventurous 13-year-old half-brother.
- Ben Pronsky (The Loud House) as William Wylde, Jack and Lily’s supportive father.
- Jee Young Han (Unprisoned) as Min-Ju Pak, Lily’s energetic mother and Jack’s stepmom.
- Jean Yoon (Kim’s Convenience) as Halmoni, their strong-willed grandmother.
A Major Step in Korean American Representation
Wylde Pak Korean American family representation is central to the series. It blends humor, cultural traditions, and the ups and downs of family life. The show is part of Nickelodeon’s Intergalactic Shorts Program, making it the second project from the initiative to receive a full series order.
