For many Korean-American parents, finding new and exciting places to take their kids every weekend can be a challenge.
The usual spots can become repetitive, and keeping children entertained, isn’t always easy. However, a new addition to Los Angeles promises to offer a fresh, unique experience for families: the Sloomoo Institute’s immersive sensory play space.
The Sloomoo Institute first launched in October 2019 in New York City’s Soho district and has since expanded to Chicago, Atlanta, and now, Los Angeles.
The institute specializes in sensory play, particularly through the use of slime, which provides a tactile experience designed to engage children in a fun, interactive way.
But it’s not just for kids. Sloomoo also offers a variety of experiences for groups, including field trips, guided tours, party room rentals, Elmer’s slime-making classes, private events, team-building sessions, and even adult-only nights.
Forbes magazine described the Sloomoo Institute as “a cornucopia for the senses,” while the Today Show hailed it as a must-visit destination for families. With so many options for activities, it could be the perfect weekend outing for parents looking for something different.
