The bag contained a laptop, cell phone, and cash, which in total valued at approximately $4,000.

The suspect is believed to be a Hispanic male. Security guards were present at the time of the incident, but reportedly did not respond because it happened in a short amount of time. “It happened so fast, as soon as I got out of the car,” the victim said, ”I think I’m going to have to be even more aware of my surroundings before I get out of the car.”

The police attempted to track down the suspect through the AirTag on her bag, but only the keys with the tag were found nearby. ”The police said they are currently analyzing security camera footage from the parking lot,” she said.
