A new restaurant in LA Koreatown is offering giant pork cutlets.
Lasung House, a new restaurant that had its grand opening on April 1, is serving a giant donkatsu that is said to be measured about 8-inch-long, according to Eater LA. It is located on Olympic Boulevard, a small building where it formerly was Yupdduk, a Korean tteokbokki franchise.
Lasung House offers a variety of menus besides its famous Pork Cutlet (Wang Donkatsu), featuring Chicken Cutlet, Fish Cutlet, and Spicy Pork Cutlet, all priced at $18.99. The restaurant also offers combo options such as the Jumbo Shrimp & Pork Cutlet combo and the Jumbo Shrimp & Fish Cutlet combo, both priced at $22.99. Cheese Pork Cutlet is also available for $20.99, and Pork Cutlet Curry Rice is priced at $19.99.
In addition to the signature Pork Cutlet, Lasung House offers noodle dishes including Buckwheat Noodles ($14.99), Spicy Cold Wheat Noodles ($15.99), Stone Pot Udon ($16.99), Ragu Spaghetti ($17.99), and Cream Pasta with Seafood ($19.99). Drinks include Rice Shikhye (Korean rice beverage) Slushy, Sweet Pumpkin Rice Shikhye Slushy, and Iced Korean Mix Coffee, each priced at $4.99.
Lasung House is located at 3134 W Olympic Boulevard, across from Hobart Boulevard Elementary School. It is open seven days a week, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday.
