The Netflix original dating show “Single’s Inferno” has been renewed for a fourth season, Netflix said Wednesday.
The franchise will be the first Korean Netflix variety show to be extended to its fourth season.
The latest season, which was released in December, garnered major attention. It made the Global Top 10 TV Series (Non-English) for five consecutive weeks since its release and also entered top 10 lists of 31 countries including Japan, Indonesia and Taiwan, according to the company.
“We will do our best to make a better season with the fourth one, listening to the support and criticism fans gave use for the recent ended season,” producer Kim Jae-won said in a news release.
Further information about the new season has yet not been disclosed.
“Single’s Inferno” centers on attractive single men and women searching for love on a deserted island dubbed “Inferno,” where electronics are not allowed and the cast members have to cook their own meals and find water. Contestants can only escape the island as a couple. When matched, they go to a luxurious hotel, dubbed “Paradise,” for a romantic date night.
The first season of “Single’s Inferno” aired from December 2021 to January 2022. Its second season began in December 2022 and ran until January 2023.
