Blackpink‘s Jisoo and actor Ahn Bo-hyun are back on the market, Jisoo’s agency YG Entertainment said Tuesday.
The two stars admitted that they were in a relationship and were “getting to know each other” in August after a Korean media outlet reported on their relationship.
It was the first time the agency confirmed a dating rumor about a member of Blackpink.
An industry insider told JTBC, an affiliate of the Korea JoongAng Daily, that they broke up recently due to their busy schedule.
Jisoo debuted as a member of the girl group in 2016. The quartet recently completed its second world tour, “Born Pink.”
Ahn debuted in 2007 as a model and started his acting career with the KBS drama “Golden Cross” (2014). He took off after his role in JTBC hit drama “Itaewon Class” (2020), following roles in “Yumi’s Cells” (2021), “Military Prosecutor Doberman” (2022) and “See You in My 19th Life” (2023). He will star in an upcoming film “Noryang,” scheduled to premiere in December.
