Blackpink’s Lisa was spotted on a dinner date in Paris with Frédéric Arnault, the heir of LVMH, social media posts showed on Tuesday.
Lisa was rumored to be dating Arnault, luxury watch company TAG Heuer CEO and the son of Bernard Arnault, chairman and CEO of the world’s largest luxury goods conglomerate LVMH.
The two were spotted as they left a restaurant in Paris, where they were met with fans and paparazzi as they headed to their vehicle outside the restaurant.
Lisa and other members of Blackpink — Jisoo, Jennie and Rosé — have likely had their exclusive contract with YG Entertainment end as of August as the group reached its seventh anniversary.
The group’s “Born Pink” finale concert in Seoul, held in mid-September, was the quartet’s final concert as a group of four under the group’s original contract with YG Entertainment.
With high anticipation and rising curiosity among fans of Blackpink and those of K-pop, YG Entertainment is yet to announce any update on Blackpink’s future contract.
The length of these exclusive contracts between artists and agencies in Korea typically is just under seven years, as the Fair Trade Commission in 2009 recommended such contracts last no more than seven years.
