TXT’s ‘The Name Chapter: Freefall’ surpasses 2.35 million copies in preorders

It took eight days for Tomorrow X Together to record 2.35 million preorders of its upcoming album “The Name Chapter: Freefall,” its agency BigHit Music said on Friday.

The recent record is a new high for the boy band whose previous release, “The Name Chapter: Temptation,” sold 2.34 million copies in preorders in January.

“The Name Chapter: Freefall” is the band’s third full-length album and is slated for release on Oct. 13.

The band is also set to release a track titled “Back for More” with Brazilian pop star Anitta, and on Tuesday, it will perform the song live with Anitta during the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards in New Jersey.

The band has been nominated for Group of the Year, Song of Summer, PUSH Performance of the Year and Best K-pop.

Tomorrow X Together debuted in March 2019 under Bighit Music, a subsidiary of HYBE, as a five-member band — Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun and Hueningkai.
