Independence Day, which commemorates the United States breaking free from British colonial rule, is marked by the official adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. To celebrate this historic occasion and the month of July, several retailer brands, including 7-Eleven, Auntie Anne’s, Cinnabon, Krispy Kreme, Shake Shack, and Sonic, are offering special promotions. Here’s what we found:

[Krispy Kreme]

Krispy Kreme, the popular doughnut shop, is giving away a free original glazed doughnut to customers who visit the shop while wearing red, white, and blue.

[Sonic]

Sonic, the fast food chain, is offering half-price cheeseburgers for customers who place online orders or use the Sonic mobile app after 5 p.m. on July 4.

[7-Eleven]

7Rewards and Speed Rewards members can enjoy a free Slurpee drink from July 1 to July 10. Additionally, customers who order through the 7NOW delivery app on July 8 will receive an extra Slurpee. On July 11, in celebration of 7-Eleven’s founding day, customers nationwide will receive a free Slurpee in stores.

[Auntie Anne’s]

Auntie Anne’s, the pretzel company, is offering a 25 percent discount on pretzels and selected drinks (Dragonfruit Mango Frost, Dragonfruit Mango Frozen Lemonade, and Dragonfruit Mango Lemonade mixers) for both in-store and online purchases until September 24.

[Cinnabon]

Cinnabon, the bakery store, is providing a $2 discount to Cinnabon Rewards members who purchase Cinna Packs through July 31.

[Shake Shack]

Until July 31, Shake Shack is running a “buy one, get one free” promotion on shakes from 2-5 p.m. daily. Users can enter the promo code “SHAKEITUP” on the Shake Shack website or mobile app to avail the offer.
