J-Hope will release the single “on the street (with J. Cole)” at 2 p.m. Friday, announced his agency Big Hit Music.
“on the street (with J. Cole),” written and composed by J-Hope, will be the artist’s first single after his first full-length album “Jack In The Box,” released on July 15.
Created in collaboration with the American rapper J. Cole, the track will feature both J. Cole’s “deep raps and J-Hope’s positive vibes,” said Big Hit.
The lo-fi hip-hop track was created by J-Hope with the motif of “walking on the streets, where people walk, breathe and feel a variety of emotions.”
“’Street’ also has special meaning to J-Hope, as the street dance scene traces back to hid roots and are a source of inspiration which makes him dream and represents the traces of his hard work,” added the agency.
The music video will also be released Friday.
